The Abnormally Normal Traveler 2

I had planned to get back to my blog sooner but I was holding out hope that I would get a comment or two with approval or disapproval after the first one but it didn't happen. So I'll prod on.
Why am I considered to be abnormally normal?  I'll get back to that at a later time. Today I'm traveling. I do a lot of traveling and it is often at the last minute, usually a week-end jaunt to here or there when my daughter says we are going to a horse show, can you come with us? Occasionally its for a week like our trips from the deep south to KY, NJ or Chicago. This time its two states west. Our routine is to pack the horse trailer with three days to a weeks worth of riding clothes, boots, jackets, helmets, saddles and more, the horse feed and hay and a couple of horses. Then in what little space is left we throw, and it literally has to be tossed to a spot, in our luggage. Once we arrive at the show ring and unpack the horse feed and hay and unload the horses we throw the luggage into the bed of the truck. At least that's our usual routine. If its raining we have to put luggage for four into the truck where it ends up being smashed together and sat on, not to mention get wet, as we drive to the hotel.
If it sounds hectic, it is. It is fun organized chaos and like the commercial says spending time with my daughter and granddaughters is priceless.
I'm sure glad I have functional luggage that can take a beating and still be beautiful. Can't beat that fine Italian leather!!

I have been told by so many friends and acquaintances over the years that I should write my life story. I asked, now why would I want to do that? They answered, because you have had an interesting life.
Well, they are correct, my life has been interesting but I have always considered it to be normal. So, I have decided to try blogging to see if I can write anything interesting enough to even consider writing my life story.
First question, how does one go about learning how to blog? I have no idea so this will be my first attempt. Those of you who choose to read it are encouraged to give me insight as to the highlights and or low lights. Remember now, I am counting on you to help me learn!
First concern, what stage of my life should be addressed as a starter? How my life came about, the current stage of my life or would a little family history be the best? Personally I consider the family history to be the most interesting. I come from a mixed bag of interesting people.
My parents were married at very young ages.  Mother had turned 16 a month and a half before the wedding. My dad was 19. Mother was a high school student from a somewhat wealthy and very prominent family and Daddy was one of eight children from, to be gracious, a not so wealthy family. Daddy had quit high school to go to work since that was the rule in his home. His source of income at the time of their wedding was a paper route.
I’ll close this segment of the story by telling you that they eloped to Wheeling, WV during the time of the major flood of 1936.
